Clinical Supervision

Any professionals who conduct therapy in form or another, requires certain amount of supervision to main ethical standards and to ensure they are not a victim of being ‘burnout’.
There are many types of Supervision:- Personal / Individual Supervision Clinical Supervision (Face-to-Face or Online) Administrative Supervision Group Supervision Supervision Fees: Personal / Individual Supervision - S$150/- per hour Clinical Supervision (Students or Internship) - S$120/- per hour Clinical Supervision (to be a Registered Counsellor with SAC) - S$150/- Group Supervision - S$50/- per hour (min 4-5 pax in a group) |

It is the one-to-one supervision with a supervisor and a supervisee. This can be completed face-to-face, Zoom, Skype, or by email. Although, the latter is still a relatively new area and requires additional attention in relation to relevant practical, ethical and legal issues.

Can be a beneficial experience that can enhance the professional growth and confidence of both the supervisor and the supervisee. The goal of the clinical supervision process, is to enhance and support the best clinical skills and lead to improved outcomes for clients.

Administrative Supervision is a designated supervisor works with a group of supervisees. The unique aspect of group supervision is that members (supervisees) are not only influenced by the supervisor, but they are influenced by (and influence) the others in the group. Interventions are incorporated to capitalise on, and account for, this interrelatedness.
Practicum and Internship experiences in training typically incorporate group supervision as their “classroom” experience. |
